Hope, Faith & Love

Another year is ending

In December 2015, we were all in a hurry for it to end. We had no idea of how dreadful and filled with trials and lessons 2016 was going to be. On this last day of 2016, I am grateful to be alive, to have a great support system and an incredible family. My village is filled with people who bring hope, restore my faith when its down and that spread love around me through this though year. I can only hope that I was able to do give them at least half of what they gave me.

My personnal goals

I was not able to accomplish everything I had in mind for 2016 but I humbly believe that I grew as a person. I feel that I have learned to be a better friend, sibling, daughter, mother, co-worker, a better human being period. I intend to keep getting better at it every day. Relationships (of every kind) change and I think I’m slowly learning to embrace that and adapt better. I’ll keep working on that and other aspects of my character that need to evolve.

As a young adult, I had realized I was strong but this year illustrated that I got even stronger as a thirty something woman. I sow the seeds to another turn of my career and personal branding. I built the foundation of my future and will keep working hard at it patiently and steadily. I did get myself out of my comfort zone but I intend to go even further in 2017. I dare myself to do and to wear!

Make promises to yourself

I promise myself to nurture my soul, mind and body more in the following year to be able to continue being there for others. I also promise myself to ignore pettiness, bitterness from others and to stay true to myself. I hope that people will be able to show more empathy and compassion to another and less judgment.

Happy New Year: Hope, Faith & Love to all!!
